Saturday post

Me and Anna are just hanging out at home today. We had a wicked night watching Ramstein last night but Anna is going to do the offical review on her blog. Anyway I am just waiting for doug to get home from Henely and we are going to hopefully close the deal on my new Landcruiser. The really exciting thing is the possibility of the veg oil conversion. I hope to get it done while we are in stockholm next week.

Anyway I am hoping to go for a ride in Wales tomorrow.

Thats it

If you ever get the chance go see Ramstein live they rock!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last one today

Long Ride Posted by Picasa
Ok one more picture.
I just cant resist a picture of me on a motorbike. This was taken at the end of the Rally I did last year in morroco. The beach is actually in spain on the last of the 8 days we had to ride about 100miles in spain. I had just broken my camera and my GPS and I was so tired I was nearly crying as I rode down to the beach. Anyway I have forgotten all about that side of it now and cant wait to have another go at it next march.

Annas Weasels

Well two posts per day. I just love the uploading pictures. Here is a picture of Annas guinea pigs when there were six weeks old. Now adays they are great for keeping the grass cut. We have not had to use a lawn mower all summer.

Mullet Over

Well the internet is down for the last few days at work. Completing my blog from home means pictures. As I am going to watch Ramsteen tonight I thought a good old fashioned mullet was the order of the day.

the plot thickens

Its funny how just after I wrote yesterday's post my mate kev phoned me to say he knew of two Landcruisers that were for sale in the next village to him. So anyway last night me and Doug had what could only be described as a Gentlemans evening in Northamptonshire . The only problem was tha guy selling the Landcruisers was not in. Anyway they looked much better than what I have seen so far. If only kev had told me about them last week.

Landcruiser Blues

Today I have the Landcruiser Blues.

I have been trying to buy a 80 series Landcruiser, and boy is it hard. Basically the real hard part is getting my head round paying 5k for a 10- 15 year old car. My plan is to get one and run it on veg oil. But right now unless I find a great one its not going to happen.

The other thing I forgot to say yesterday was how we had so many (2) visitors from down under. It was really good to see Phil and Andy. And was alos a good opportunity to eat some nice pub food.

Now its been a little while since I have written anything here and its all my fault.
So to enable those who read my blog to catch up here’s the news.

23 – 24th June – Rode in the Welsh 2 day endure. Had a great time and did pretty good too. Me and Geoff / Doug (sometimes) have been slowly developing our new race truck and the welsh was its first proper outing. It did pretty good. Day one was beautiful Welsh sunshine and dust. Day two was a mud bath.

I have been going to Brick lane with Anna to sell stuff at the market. That’s pretty good fun. It’s funny watching all the bull dykes and Nathan Barley’s cruise by on their Sunday afternoon shopping trips.

I am in search of a new vehicle as I have had mine for at least 6 months now. I am trying to find a Toyota Landcruiser. The Idea is I am going to convert it to run on straight vegetable oil. Me and Jon drove to Harrogate to buy one yesterday but it was a complete piece of sh1t.

Our canoeing trip to Canada is planned for the middle of September. The team is Me, Anna, Jon, Michelle, Taff, Sara and Doug. We had our first planning meeting last week and this week we will be confirming our route through the Algonquin Nation Park and booking our outfitting.

Me and Anna are off to Stockholm for a few days next week. That should be nice I have never been. Anna has been there with work before. I am working on her and maybe one day she will allow me to go to New York with her.

Dropped Geoff at the airport last Friday, he is off to Cali for a couple of weeks.

Had a good old fashioned borney at Alexs last night. Alex and Katherine are both doing fine and will enjoy a mention on my blog. Anyone looking towards the sky last night may have seen the clouds of smoke over cowley.

Went round to see Ian and Karen on Friday night and had a nice tour of there new Granny flat. All looking very nice.

Thats it really will try to keep up and post some pics soon
