Guess Who (Shes Nosey)

GOOGLE EYE
By John D Loudermilk ©1962 Acuff-Rose Publ. Inc.

Jump in me old jeep wagon
Bump it to the banks of the river
Dig me a worm and a cricket squirm
And a-wade out into the water

Oh, goodbye google eye
Eat him up a-google eye a-google eye a-google eye
Eat him up a-google eye a-google eye a-google eye
Goodbye google eye

Bait me a hook in the morning
Throw him out into the water
Make him swim with a dorsal fin
And come home to me daughter

Oh oh goodbye google eye...

Google eye swim by me hipboot
Look up at me from the water
Google eye chomp and me fall on me romp
But me get him up out of the water

Oh goodbye google eye...

Google eye fry in the sizzle
Sweet smoke lay on the water
Take old google eye's scales 'n tails
Home to me daughter

Oh goodbye google eye
Ate him up a-google eye, a-google eye, a-google eye
Ate him up a-google eye, a-google eye, a-google eye

Good bye google eye

Berlin Wall

Well this weekend was a little different from those of the last year or so. Me and Anna decided to do a bit of DIY. this decision was largely influenced by the need to shut our nosey neighbor out. In the run up to this event I had to get Googlewacked twice (the name given to talking to our neighbor).
The subject of the voluntary googlewacking was to inform of the intention to replace said fence. I was hoping she would offer to pay if I did the work but no such luck. I don’t really care though cos it will be worth the money to stop here peeping through the fence. I was not really aware that she was a fence peeper until during the googlewacking she was able to tell me the type and variety of Annas guinea pigs although she has never seen them.
So anyway after a long weekend of digging, breaking concrete, making concrete, loading up and unloading we have constructed the Berlin Wall mk2.
The bad news is that the next job is to treat the fence, however this is bound to result in another Googlewack which could be prolonged as I will be in her garden for quite some time. I am considering finding a young Huckleberry Finn type character whom I can pay 6 pence to do the job for me. On the understanding that any type of cakes or sweets he gets offered during the job area passed directly to me.

One wedding and two BBQs

Well what a good bank holiday, It started on saturday with Mike and Megans wedding in Rockingham Castle, The whole day was superb and wasnt spoilt by the usual religous bullshit that can sometimes be asscioated with weddings. The canopies were great and so was the wedding cake ( top Layer traditional, middle layer Sponge; bottom layer carrot and a couple of chocolate cakes in case you didnt like any). I liked them all and tryed them all at least once!!!!

Sunday was a BBQ round at Dave and Erini's which was all good and followed by a bit of bowling at the kassam stadium where Anna bowled her first ever strike (WooHoo) and I won my first ever match.

Then Monday what can I say, an afternoon round at Ians with Taff at the BBQ. Not even a light shower could dampen the spirits. All good but now back at work. At least its a short week.

Oh I nearly forgot Anna's Weasels moved house this weekend form the Patio to a new custom made position on the path.
